Market Director and Logistics

Humon is a first-generation farmer and passionate about local food systems. He owns Keep Step Farm, a small sustainable vegetable farm in Rockville. In his free time, he performs standup comedy and runs Green Acre Comedy, which produces comedy shows on local farms.

Before starting his own farm, he held various jobs in agriculture, ranging from lobbying and advocating for small-scale farmers to selling pickles for Number 1 Sons. He has worked and volunteered on several farms, including Common Root Farm, ECO City Farms, Ten Mothers Farm, and Faithful Farms.

He has a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Vermont.
